Community Leadership Service (CLS), a biennial 11-week program sponsored by the Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce, is thrilled to announce the launch of its new and improved website, CLSGreaterWilliamsburg.org. This redesigned website provides quick and easy access to essential information and content, offering a comprehensive overview of the CLS program, including its objectives, benefits, application process, impacts to the community and feedback from past participants.
The new website has a clean uncluttered design, intuitive navigation, and enhanced rich content focused on the CLS mission to inspire participants to make a difference through leadership and volunteerism. Launched in preparation for recruiting the next class of CLS leaders, the website is live and located at CLSGreaterWilliamsburg.org.
Since 2006, a total of 147 CLS alumni are making an impact throughout the Greater Williamsburg area that includes Williamsburg, James City County and York County. The program offers a unique behind-the-scenes view of area organizations through engagement with key leaders. Participants experience nine key areas important to our community, including Community Needs, Environment, Conservation, Tourism, Military, Economic Development, and many more critical areas. The next session will be the class of 2026, with candidate recruitment starting in early 2025.
