Join the Chamber for our new training series The Learning Table. This 4 part training series will take place every 4th Tuesday of the month. The final training session in this new series will take place on Tuesday, May 28th at 12 PM in the Chamber conference room.

It’s true. There are personalities out there on social media that have a more engaged audience and more followers than even your local newspaper. But how can you influence the community with social influencer marketing? What even is social influencer marketing? Do you have social influencers in your community? We’ll go over all this – and feature a local social media influencer – so you can determine how and when to use this tactic for growing awareness about your business. This type of marketing has done wonders with just about every business sector and we want to showcase examples and ways to incorporate it with each attendee.
Michael Kimball joined Consociate Media following a long tenure at The Williamsburg Winery where he served as the Marketing Director. Prior to assuming the responsibilities of the marketing department, Michael served as the Winery’s Wine Club Director, Social Media Director and Wine Festival Manager. Michael has served on tourism advisory groups and was elected to the Virginia Wineries Association Board of Directors. Before leaving the Williamsburg Winery, Michael was promoted to Vice President of Marketing for The Williamsburg at Wessex Hundred. Prior to joining the Winery, Michael worked as a Brand Ambassador for CIP Marketing, a European based retail and event marketing agency, with a specific focus on the sporting goods company, Adidas. While with CIP Marketing, Michael learned innovative-non-traditional branding strategies and, most importantly, developed a passion for marketing and branding.
