Join the Chamber for our new training series The Learning Table. This 4 part training series will take place every 4th Tuesday of the month.The third training session in this new series will take place on Tuesday, April 23rd at 12 PM in the Chamber conference room. 

Members: There is no cost to attend; simply register in advance to reserve your seat at the table.

Owners of Main Street businesses that:

    Have gross revenues in a range between $500k-$5million annually (more or less),

    Have been in business more than 3 years, and

    Have at least one employee other than the owner.

Early-stage startups with no record of profits. Businesses that have no employees and no intention to have any

Dr. Douglas Brown is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and served as an Army officer for 27 years, both Active and Reserves, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. His civilian professional experience includes management consulting for companies ranging from small to Fortune 100, information technology, strategic planning, and process optimization. Douglas is also the international best-selling author of several business-related books.  As a licensed real estate salesperson in Virginia, Douglas can assist clients in buying or selling businesses that have real estate attached. He can also speak Spanish, French, and German.

When he is not “working”, his family enjoys the many offerings of the Williamsburg area, usually accompanied by the family dog.
