This year's theme for Tables of 8 is "Tables of 8: Lunch & Lead: Unapologetically Ambitious: Leading from Every Seat" This series of intimate lunches is designed for women navigating the constant juggle of career, family, personal goals, and self-care. It's a supportive and safe space to share honestly about the invisible mental load we carry.
This month, we'll dive into these topics:
- Ice Breaker: Are you someone who addresses conflict immediately, or do you need time to process?
- Discussion Topic: What is your approach to delivering hard feedback or navigating workplace tension while maintaining strong professional relationships?
About Berret's Seafood Restaurant and Taphouse Grill
Berret's Restaurant has been voted by locals as "Best Seafood Restaurant" and "Best Crabcake" year after year. We actively seek out the freshest in regional seafood and produce. Our proximity to the York and James Rivers, Chesapeake Bay, and offshore Atlantic waters provide a variety of fresh seasonal catches: shad roe, softshell crabs, sea trout, and striped bass in the spring; flounder, cobia, tuna, wahoo and bluefish in the summer; and rockfish, red fish and sea bass each fall. With the availability of local natural oysters and clams and the advent of aquaculture, we offer shellfish year-round. For those who wish not to eat seafood, equal care is taken with our steaks, chops and poultry entrees.
Our mission is to empower women of diverse occupations through networking, leadership development, peer-to-peer engagement, mentoring, and educational programs. We strive to create a supportive community where women can thrive professionally and personally.
