Description

This special day is designed to bring awareness to animal rescue organizations and help place adoptable pets in their “furever” homes. We’ll have a pet portrait station, delicious doggy delights, and informational booths. To kick off the Halloween festivities, we’ll also have trick-or-treating for the kids that features several Yorktown businesses and rescue organizations. 

Riverwalk Landing will be filled with vendors selling seasonal produce; fresh baked goods; meats; fresh-cut flowers; honey; and more! You’re sure to have a doggone good time! 

The free, accessible Yorktown Trolley will be in operation beginning at 11 a.m. during this event. 

On the Docket 

9 a.m. - 12 p.m. 

• Pet portraits behind the Freight Shed. Your pet's photo will automatically be entered into a photo contest! 

10 a.m. - 3 p.m. 

• Phil Poteat will perform acoustical guitar. 

1 p.m. 

• Halloween Pet Costume Parade. The lineup begins at 12:45 p.m. behind the Freight Shed.
