28th Mayflower Marathon Holiday Food Drive
November 22nd through November 24th

Now more than ever, we need your help to make the holidays hunger-free this giving season. 

106.9 The Fox and FM99 proudly present the 28^th Mayflower Marathon Holiday Food Drive, presented by Bud’s Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning and Electric, and hosted by Kroger to bring joy, happiness and nourishment to families across the greater Peninsula who are experiencing the hardship of food insecurity.

The Mayflower Marathon Holiday Food Drive, benefitting Virginia Peninsula Foodbank, will take place November 22nd through November 24th at:

Friday and Saturday 7am to 7pm, Sunday 7am to 3pm

For many, a daily meal is a simple choice of what to eat. For people facing hunger, a daily meal poses a very different type of choice. It's often an impossible decision between food and other crucial needs, such as electricity, childcare, or medicine. Nobody should be forced to make a choice to go hungry. We're all vulnerable to things out of our control-like hunger. The reality is, any one of us could find ourselves in this situation. With the community’s support, we can come together to help people achieve long-term food security, so they no longer have to make such tough decisions.

It isn’t easy to ask for help, but it is easy to give! This three day food drive makes giving easy – simply drive through and donate. Because of you, children, families, seniors and veterans will have a brighter holiday season. 

Most Needed Items

Frozen Turkeys, Canned Fruits and Vegetables, Canned Beans, Instant Potatoes, Family Size Box/Bag Rice, Macaroni and Cheese, Hearty Meaty Soups, Gravy, Cereals, 100% juice, Box Dinners, Spaghetti/Pasta Meals, Canned Meats (Chicken, Tuna, Corned Beef) Peanut Butter, Jelly, Condiments, Canned Yams, stuffing mix and monetary donations.
