Description
Join James City County Parks & Recreation for an impactful tribute to celebrate Black History Month! The guided tour of the Free Black Settlement will start at the Freedom Park Interpretive Center. Along the way, experience stories of hardship and triumph detailed by Williamsburg Native and Virginia Black Storyteller, Dylan Pritchett. You'll also have the opportunity to meet African American artisans who will demonstrate woodworking and white oak basket weaving (available for purchase).

Registration is required; you'll choose one of four timeslots (10-10:30 a.m., 11-11:30 a.m., 12-12:30 p.m. or 1-1:30 p.m.). Fee: $5 per person (includes hot beverages); children ages 3 and younger are free!
