Get ready for an exciting evening of networking and fun with the Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce! We invite you to our Business After Hours, hosted by Cannon Country 107.9 at Alewerks, on Thursday, March 20th, from 4 to 6 PM.

Event Highlights:

In addition, the Chamber team will be hosting a 50/50 Cash Raffle at check-in. Tickets will be available for purchase at $3 each or four for $10, giving you even more chances to win!

About Our Host:

Cannon Country 107.9 is Virginia's newest country radio station. Launched just this past March, they bring it's listeners Everything Country 90's through today. It's the only place where you can get George Strait and Post Malone all in one! With The Cash Warren Morning Show and Gideon in afternoons, their DJs bring you fresh music and fun vibes 24/7!

On the station side, their most recent activity has been the launch of two exciting feature segments. The #SafetySteve Drive Home Request Hour brings you all the songs YOU wanna hear on your ride home from work, weekdays from 5-6pm. Just drop your requests in their FaceBook comments! In addition, Gideon Dean (the voice of their afternoons) has launched a weekly music-focused program. On Saturdays at 7pm, we flip the programming rulebook upside down to highlight the women of country music during 'Equal Play', a 5-hour show aimed to highlight the women of country music; past, present, and everything in between.

Derek leads our sales campaign initiatives, strives for greatness and quality in local community broadcasting, and brings their team together to make their station operations flourish. Gideon Dean, Communications Director: Gideon oversees Cannon Country's day-to-day functionality and handles everything from voicing afternoons to the station's social media channels to helping plan and execute station events.
