DESCRIPTION:Join the Fun at the James City Lions Club Golf Tournament The James City Lions Club invites you to join its annual Charity Golf Tournament on Friday\, September 11\, at the Ford's Colony Country Club. This popular annual golf tournament's success makes possible a wide range of humanitarian programs\, financial assistance and support that enhance the lives of our neighbors and our community. Golfer registration begins at 7:30 a.m. with a captain's choice format 'shotgun start' beginning at 9:00 a.m. on the Marsh Hawk course. Individual golfer cost is $135 or $540 for a foursome and includes a golf cart\, range balls\, flight prize money\, goody bag\, buffet lunch and beverage. In addition to top awards there will be a raffle drawing with a prize of $1\,000 and $250\, a 50/50 raffle and door prizes. Individuals and foursomes are encouraged to register.Tournament sponsors include Williamsburg Realty\, Chase Roofing\, Williamsburg Moose Lodge 757\, Chesapeake Bank\, Verena at the Reserve\, National Exterminating and Williamsburg Memorial Park.
